Heroes of Newerth invite giveaway

Heroes of Newerth is a remake or clone of the highly popular Warcraft 3 mod DotA. The game is developed by S2 Games, the creators of Savage 1 & 2 (some of my favorite games) in cooperation with one of the creators of the original WC3 mod. Currently it features much improved graphics and gameplay, and it is of course entirely free to play.

So why do I as a Linux user care about this? Games like these are generally just released for Windows, right? Wrong! There is a fully native client available for both 32 and 64-bit Linux! Awesome, huh?

Currently the game is in closed beta, but I happen to have 3 invites just waiting to be given away 0 invites left. Sorry people! Check back some other time for more invites.

    @Andreas - I have absolutely no idea when the game will hit open beta. Your best bet is probably to try to get in touch with the developers.

    As for a little update, I haven’t gotten any more beta keys yet, so either keep scouring the web or keep waiting.
